Alvaro Reyes

Alvaro uses his technical skills for a hands-on approach in troubleshooting building systems and controls with operations staff.
His focus is to make buildings work better by improving energy efficiency, equipment reliability, and occupant comfort. His experience includes energy management, existing building commissioning, and design, specification, and functional testing of building automation systems.
Alvaro’s interests in the environment and sustainability led to his career path in green buildings. Currently, Alvaro is a member of the Engineers and Geoscientists BC, and Building Commissioning Association.
Outside of work, Alvaro enjoys spending time with his family, playing various musical instruments, and also planning and completing cycle tours with his wife. Together they have cycle toured over 15,000 km through various countries.
