The Role
The successful candidate will work with the Commissioning, Testing Adjusting and Balancing (TAB), and Sustainability teams to prepare proposals and Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manuals.
Key Responsibilities
Estimating:
- Review mechanical drawings and specifications for project scope requirements.
- Complete estimations for Commissioning, TAB, Integrated System Testing (IST), & Manuals projects for manager review and sign-off.
- Prepare proposal content.
- Review current approved project site instructions and change orders for additional scope pricing. Update project managers on changes to their projects.
O&M Manuals Preparation:
- Compile project maintenance manuals as per mechanical specifications and client requirements.
- Delivery of electronic copies of preliminary and final manuals to client.
- Printing, binding and coordinate courier delivery of physical copies of maintenance manuals where required.
Attributes
- AScT or CTech qualification, in a mechanical designation.
- Proficiency in reading and understand mechanical and architectural drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (primarily Word and Excel).
- Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat.
- Experience with Function Point (or similar project management software) is an asset, but not required.
- Enjoys being part of a team, having fun, and recognizes the importance of each team member.
- Ability to work under demanding deadlines and work schedules.
- Ability to prioritize and organize tasks effectively.
- Professional and responsive communication skills with clients and team.
- Self-motivated, enjoys the details and getting things right, and not afraid to ask questions.
